HAY ON WI 10th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
Hay on WI Garden Party celebration 2022.
We started with a glass of Pimms to welcome everyone to the evening. The weather was good and we were able to sit out in Shirley’s lovely garden.
After a wonderful bring and share buffet supper thanks to everyone who brought a plate of food, Trish addressed the group, recalling the start-up of Hay on WI and acknowledging those involved in making it successful. We raised a toast to our 10th Anniversary. She also thanked the committee for their hard work and then presented a beautiful rose to each of them. A special thank you was extended to Shirley for hosting the Garden Party in such a wonderful setting.
WI Advisor Rose Morris, who started the first meeting of Hay on WI was asked to cut the fabulous cake which had been specially made for us by Sean (First Class Act at By The River).
We then had a photo taken for PBFWI posterity as part of the centenary of the Federation before enjoying cake and strawberries and a lovely social evening.
