Brainfit Workout January 2017

Cat Lawford from Gym & Tonic in Hay led a session on a new approach to exercise called Brainfit. This works by combining exercise with affirmations, so that your brain prompts your body to achieve more than it would through exercise alone. Cat is very good at encouraging people (touch of the Michele Obamas there) and by the end we felt upbeat and saw that improvement was a) possible and b) not difficult to achieve. Our glutes (and all our other muscles) are strong! She did this session especially for us but she does BrainFit sessions in the gym once a fortnight too.
