USA Coast to Coast (by train)

The Wye Group Meeting hosted by Llanigon WI was an illustrated travel talk by Penny Platts entitled USA Coast to Coast (by train) From New York to San Francisco. A dry sense of humour featured in Penny's talk. She is an experienced and natural speaker and the talk was well received. She took us on a journey from Washington, Chicago, Denver and into the Rockies Grand Junction, and on a steam train from Silverton to Durango – through Monument Valley, The Grand Canyon, Los Angeles and finally along the Pacific Coast even visiting Alcatraz
