Amazing Brecon Mountain Rescue Team

Graham Bailey, one of the team-leaders from Brecon Mountain Rescue gave us a fascinating account of the incredible work of the emergency service staffed entirely by volunteers and funded by donation. Their work is not only on the Brecon Beacons mountains and wilderness searching and rescuing climbers and hill walkers: but they are also increasingly called on by the police to search for vulnerable or missing persons in the community using specialist medical and rescue techniques.
